Access TRAILSEAL Tailgate Sealing Gasket | 30946

The 30946 is an ACCESS TRAILSEAL peel-and-stick gasket for gaps around the tailgate. It is a cut-to-fit accessory, not a truck-model-specific tonneau cover. Check the sealing path, gap and contact surface before ordering.

Key Features

• Cut-to-fit truck-bed sealing accessory for the location stated in the title
• Designed to help reduce dust and weather entry around the tailgate perimeter
• Correct surface preparation and seal placement are required
• Not a guarantee of a completely watertight truck bed

Fitment

Select this universal cut-to-fit gasket by the tailgate gap and contact surface, not a cover-family year/make/model table. It seals around the tailgate; it is not the separate bulkhead gasket.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the 30946?

It is a cut-to-fit adhesive gasket for sealing gaps around a pickup tailgate.

How do I confirm fitment?

Check the tailgate sealing path, gap and clean contact surface. A truck-specific cover or rail mounting application is not required.

Will it fit another bed length?

Bed length alone does not select a tailgate gasket. Check the required sealing path and trim the gasket as instructed.

Are factory rail or storage systems important?

Check whether installed equipment obstructs the sealing path or tailgate operation. Do not apply cover-specific rail or storage-box exclusions automatically.

Is installation hardware included?

Only the components packaged by the manufacturer for this exact listing are included. Unlisted racks, covers, straps and accessories are separate.

Is professional installation required?

The manufacturer describes cut, peel and stick installation. Correct surface preparation and placement matter; this is not a load-bearing rack installation.

Is the truck bed completely waterproof after installation?

No truck-bed cover or seal should be treated as a guarantee of a completely watertight compartment. Correct alignment and seal contact help manage weather exposure.

Can Black Ops Auto Works help verify the application?

Yes. Send details or photos of the tailgate gap and sealing path so we can help identify the appropriate gasket.

Installation Instructions

1. Wash and dry the installation surface.
2. Test a short section to confirm seal placement and tailgate or cover operation.
3. Clean the selected area with the manufacturer-recommended preparation method.
4. Apply the seal along the intended contact path without stretching it.
5. Close and reopen the tailgate or cover to verify contact, latch function and drainage.
