FAQ

What is the R4SBC137?

It provides the application-specific diesel lift-pump arrangement listed below. The Raptor pump supplies fuel pressure and flow; it is not a filtered AirDog air-separation system or a high-pressure injection pump.

What application does this version fit?

2011-2014 Chevy Duramax

What is included with this listing?

Application-specific Raptor pump assembly; Wiring harness specified in the kit parts list; Fuel hose and connection fittings listed in the exact kit guide.

Does this replace every similar-looking component?

No. Match the products function, connections and complete system configuration; appearance alone does not establish compatibility.

How should pressure or electrical setup be selected?

Use the actual engine and system requirements in the linked guide. A GPH rating is flow, not pressure; increasing pressure beyond specification can damage the system.

What should be checked before installation?

Check the installation location, connections, required tools and supplied components against the exact guide. Do not adapt a different vehicle kit solely because the pump looks similar.

Are additional parts supplied automatically?

No. A gauge, sender, additional fittings, separate regulator or complete fuel system is included only when expressly named in Whats Included.

What should be checked before driving?

Follow the priming and startup procedure, inspect every fuel and electrical connection, verify pressure with appropriate equipment, and check for leakage and hose abrasion.

Installation Instructions

1. Read the R4SBC137 application and exact installation/service instructions before starting.
2. Inventory the supplied components against the exact manufacturer kit list before disassembly.
3. Mount the pump at the application-specific location without substituting another vehicles bracket arrangement.
4. Route suction, engine-feed and any required air/vapor-return connections exactly as shown in the guide.
5. Install the specified harness, protect the wiring and fuel lines, then complete priming and startup checks.
6. Verify pressure for this engine and inspect every connection for leaks before driving.

Read the manufacturer installation guide.
