Installation Instructions

1. Safely raise and support the M5 F90 on a lift or jack stands. Allow all exhaust components to cool fully before beginning work.
2. Disconnect the factory exhaust valve actuator wiring connectors from the OEM rear mufflers.
3. Remove the factory cat-back section by loosening the mid-pipe clamps and sliding the mufflers off the OEM rubber hangers.
4. Retain all OEM rubber hangers; they will be reused to mount the S-BM/T/2H system.
5. Dry-fit the Akrapovic front link pipes to the factory mid-pipe outlets and confirm alignment before tightening.
6. Hang both hexagonal muffler canisters from the OEM rubber hanger brackets and seat them onto the link pipe inlets.
7. Leave all clamp connections loose during initial fitment to allow tip opening alignment adjustment.
8. Reconnect the factory valve actuator wiring to the S-BM/T/2H valve assemblies; connections are directionally keyed and cannot be reversed.
9. Verify all components clear the underbody, heat shields, and rear diffuser by a minimum of 10 mm on all sides.
