FAQ

What is the 74830-01A?

AMP Research BedXTender HD Sport is a truck-bed extender for the specified bed size and mounting arrangement.

Which vehicle application is this version intended for?

2019-2025 Ram 1500

What should I know before installation?

Use the exact manufacturer guide linked below. Check the mounting points and required tools before disassembly, and do not substitute a guide for a visually similar kit.

What is supplied with this product?

BedXTender tube and upright assembly components; Supplied mounting and retention hardware listed in the kit guide.

What material or operating details are verified?

Aluminum tube construction with nylon uprights. Rotates inward or outward to change the cargo-containment position.

Can I use it with any tonneau cover?

Not automatically. Compare the cover rails, clamps and clearance with the extenders full travel. Use a spacer or alternative bracket only when it is specified for that installation.

Are the related parts confirmed for this application?

No additional vehicle-specific compatibility is implied by the brand collection link. The included components are only those expressly identified for this listing.

What should be checked after installation?

Test inward and outward rotation, latches, straps and tailgate clearance. Secure the load independently as required; an extender does not increase the truck or tailgate load rating.
