This Baer 6805204 kit pairs the black Remaster master cylinder in a 1 inch bore with the matching black adjustable proportioning valve and pre bent hardlines that use 3/8 inch inverted flare fittings. The valve mounts directly beneath the master cylinder, so the whole hydraulic assembly stays compact while rear brake bias becomes adjustable.

Key Features

  • This kit bundles the left-port black ReMaster (1″ bore) with Baers black adjustable prop valve and pre-bent 3/8″ inverted-flare lines, delivering a tidy install and dial-in balance for a wide range of front/rear brake combinations.

Fitment

Application Requirement Notes
Universal application Two bolt mounting flange Suits many Ford and GM applications
Universal application Left side port plumbing Hardlines are matched to this port side
Universal application Manual brakes or a long or short booster Booster bullet included

The hardlines are specific to the Remaster bore size, so keep this kit together as supplied. Confirm the flange bolt spacing and pushrod arrangement before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this kit include beyond the master cylinder?
It bundles the black Remaster master cylinder with the matching black adjustable proportioning valve and pre bent hardlines that use 3/8 inch inverted flare fittings.

What bore does this kit use?
The master cylinder in this kit has a 1 inch bore. Match the bore to the caliper piston area and to whether the car runs manual brakes or a booster.

Why fit an adjustable proportioning valve?
It lets rear brake pressure be dialled in so the rear tyres are not the first to lock, which matters when tyre sizes, brake hardware or vehicle weight differ from the original setup.

Where does the proportioning valve mount?
The Remaster specific valve is machined to mount directly beneath the master cylinder, so the assembly stays compact and the plumbing stays short.

Installation Instructions

  1. Work on a cool vehicle, disconnect the battery negative terminal and protect painted surfaces from brake fluid.
  2. Note the routing and thread sizes of the existing brake lines before anything is disconnected.
  3. Bench bleed the new master cylinder before installation so the bore is primed.
  4. Remove the original master cylinder from the booster or firewall mounting studs and cap the open lines.
  5. Decide between inverted flare and banjo fittings, then fit or remove the supplied brass seats to match.
  6. Mount the proportioning valve to the underside of the master cylinder using the supplied hardware and seats.
  7. Mount the master cylinder and valve assembly to the two bolt flange and check pushrod engagement.
  8. Fit the pre bent hardlines between the master cylinder and the valve, then run the front pass through and rear outlet lines.
  9. Fill both reservoirs with fresh fluid of the specification the vehicle requires and bleed the system in the factory sequence.
  10. Set the proportioning valve to a conservative starting point, then adjust rear bias in small steps during controlled low speed testing.
  11. Confirm a firm pedal with no weeping fittings, then recheck the fluid level and every fitting after the first drive.
