This Air Lift load-support system is the Ridecontrol Air Spring Kit for 1969-1974 Chevrolet Blazer. It supplements the factory suspension to help level the vehicle under an approved load; it does not increase the vehicle manufacturer’s payload or towing rating. Confirm drivetrain, body configuration, hitch and frame clearance, factory suspension, kit capacity, minimum pressure, and every listed exclusion.

Key Features

  • With the ability to adjust the air pressure from 5-100 PSI, the solution is perfect for any leaf-sprung 1/2-ton or mini pickup (Note: Do not exceed vehicle’s gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR)).
  • For frequent use, our fully-adjustable, industry leading air springs are the perfect partner for your vehicle, eliminating any issues that you might face.
  • All parts are created with rugged, durable components, including end caps made of an ultra high-strength nylon composite formula, strong as steel but much lighter and corrosion proof.
  • Offering up to 2,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity, Air Lift’s RideControl kit will make towing and hauling with your Chevy, GMC, Dodge, and Ford 1/2-ton pickups and SUVs a comfortable and stress-free experience.
  • With the added stability and weight-distribution that air springs provide, you can haul safely, knowing that you have optimal braking and steering control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Air Lift 59501, the Ridecontrol Air Spring Kit, fit my 1969-1974 Chevrolet Blazer?
Match year, make, model, drivetrain, bed or wheelbase, hitch hardware, factory suspension, frame brackets, and every application note for this exact kit.

Do Air Lift helper springs increase towing or payload capacity?
No. They help level and support the existing suspension, but the vehicle manufacturer’s GVWR, GAWR, payload, hitch, tire, and towing limits remain unchanged.

Do I need an onboard compressor for this kit?
Manual inflation works for occasional load changes. An onboard compressor is useful for frequent towing or varying loads, but it must match the kit’s pressure and control requirements.

How much air pressure should I use?
Stay within the exact kit’s published minimum and maximum. Add only enough pressure to level the loaded vehicle while keeping axle, tire, payload, and towing limits unchanged.

Installation Instructions

  1. Confirm Air Lift part number 59501, the complete application, and every required supporting component before disassembly.
  2. Secure the vehicle at the manufacturer’s specified lift points, unload the suspension as directed, and inspect the frame, brackets, springs, lines, and nearby components.
  3. Follow Air Lift’s current instructions for bracket orientation, clearances, routing, fastener sequence, pressure limits, and any drilling or trimming.
  4. Inflate and leak-test the system, cycle the suspension and steering as applicable, and verify clearance from tires, exhaust, brakes, driveline, wiring, and bodywork.
  5. Torque and align as required, then recheck leaks, pressure, fasteners, and clearance after the first loaded drive cycles.

This Air Lift load-support system is the Ridecontrol Air Spring Kit for 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma.

  • Air Lift RideControl air helper springs are air-adjustable from 5 to 100 PSI and have up to 2,000 pounds of leveling capacity, right up to the manufacturers recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
  • Each kit includes everything you need, and is easily installed in two hours or less.
  • End caps are made of an ultra-strong nylon composite that is as strong as steel, but weighs less and is corrosion-proof.
  • Air Lift RideControl adjustable air springs work with your existing leaf spring suspension.
  • Just add air when towing or hauling a heavy load, and reduce air pressure when unloaded; the air bags are fully adjustable for a great ride.
  • End caps are made of an ultra-strong nylon composite that is as strong as steel, but weighs less than steel and is also corrosion-proof.
